Archery Association of India (AAI) President and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda has praised Uttar Pradesh for its archery league.
He said that archery in Uttar Pradesh is making remarkable progress.

Arjun Munda, who arrived in Lucknow on Sunday on the second day of the National Women’s Archery Championship, which began on Saturday at KD Singh Babu Stadium in Lucknow, said in a conversation with reporters that the National Ranking Tournament helps discover talent across the country so that players who bring glory to the country at the international level can be promoted.
Munda said that seeing the talent of players coming from remote villages, it is clear that such events create a new environment for sports. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, athletes are receiving constant encouragement, which has encouraged players across the country.
Uttar Pradesh Archery Association President Avnish Awasthi stated that approximately 350 female archers from across the country are competing for medals, while 44 players from Uttar Pradesh are participating. He said that such events will give new impetus to archery in the state and provide a platform for talent emerging from rural areas.
